When I first founded Fifty Shades Greener in 2017, my mission was to help Green the Hospitality industry in Ireland. It was a simple mission and quite achievable, little did I know my “vision” would grow legs from there, and 3 years later I would be expanding to international markets.

I have worked in the Hospitality Industry all my life, since I was 17, starting in night clubs, moving to Hotels and climbing the ranks over the years. I loved working in the industry, I have met the most amazing people through the places I have worked in, but as I near my 40’s, there were many reasons why I knew I needed a change.

• The hours are long
• The life style is fast paced
• The patience sometimes starts thinning!!

Discovering the concept of “Green Hospitality” was a life changer for me. All of a sudden, I realised there was more to hospitality than I originally thought. It is not just about serving customers, making budgets and a good RevPar every month. Resource efficiency is an area that Hospitality barely touches on, I guess many in the industry would think “We have enough to worry about!” Because that is also what I thought at the start.

What I did not know at the start, is that Greening the hospitality industry is not just “the nice” thing to do, it actually is “the smart” thing to do. Reducing your business use of energy & water and production of waste, not only will reduce your business Carbon Footprint but it will also generate cost savings directly to your business bottom line.

That is when I realised there was a business to be made as an environmental trainer.

Sustainability is such a broad subject involving so many things that it scares people.

I wanted to make it “my job” to teach the workforce how to run more efficient businesses, economically and environmentally, that is why I founded Fifty Shades Greener.

But there were other reasons why I made the jump from hospitality to trainer.

• I wanted to work from home
• I wanted to dictate my own hours
• I wanted to work doing something that mattered to me
• I wanted to be in charge of my own future

3 years later, I have achieved all those things I wanted. Not with many difficulties along the way I must admit!! Starting a business from scratch is not easy, it requires patience, a detailed plan, focus, creativity and hard work. But it is the most rewarding I have done in my 40 years in this planet.

I am now looking for people around the world that, like me, want to be in charge of their own future.

You can now set up your very own Fifty Shades Greener training and coaching company on your own local area. You can become a trainer in the growing market of environmental training. The Fifty Shades Greener license includes:

1. A one year licence for the complete training & consultancy services of Fifty Shades Greener licences.
2. Chose you own city or area Exclusivity means that you are the only training individual that can deliver our course in your city or area.
3. Training materials – PowerPoint presentations with 'step by step' trainer manuals, worksheets, students handouts, action plans, audit reports, charts and Green Action Plans
4. Licensee induction training programme through online videos and live Q&A webinars with founder of the programme Raquel Noboa, this will take in average 4 weeks for the initial training but you will receive ongoing support over the year from our team.
5. 24/7 access to online training that will help you learn how to best deliver the course.
6. Ongoing support from the Fifty Shades Greener office throughout the year.
7. Marketing materials.
